Probably the weirdest (or coolest) photographer at your wedding.
The name's Peter. I'm a rare breed nowadays - a Colorado native, born and raised. I'm a wedding and aspiring travel photographer based out in Denver, Colorado. And like any pure blooded Coloradan, I bleed blue and orange. I love to hike and treading the snow. But most importantly, I love being behind the lens. Photography to me is not only the opportunity to recreate memories or stories. It's a connection, the ultimate excuse to explore the world in ways I couldn't.
Before I was a photographer, I started out as a filmmaker and making films on a blackberry pearl. I studied film throughout college. Upon graduation, I worked on several passion projects as a director/producer and made it to a couple film festivals. I have interned and worked as a cameraman and editor for a video marketing company located in Denver. I had the grand opportunity to tackle the role of director, cinematographer and editor for two different YouTube Companies. Eventually, I hung up the camera to study and work in healthcare. Through my time here, I have garnered accolades and achievements in both film making and healthcare.
Many months later, I picked up the camera again as there is no better feeling in the world than being behind the lens. My interest in photography began after friends and families insisted I become their photographer for their weddings and cosplays event. Soon after, I fell in love with it. Not only did it reignite my passion for the arts, but it also brought in more opportunities in ways I never would have imagined.
I go by G.Olive as wedding photographer. This name derives from two little rascals who continue to this day bring smiles to many due to their naivete, cuteness and wild imagination. In this otherwise bleak world, I try to expand on their example by trying to provide the same to my clients and their guests at every wedding I go to.
I go by ASNPE as a travel photographer. It's an abbreviation (for Asian Peter) and an anagram for Aspen, a city in Colorado that I once had the pleasure of living in and fell madly in love with.
